Prayer To Jesus, Agonising on the Mount of Olives O Jesus, through the abundance of Thy love, and in order to overcome our hardheartedness, Thou pourest out torrents of Thy graces over those who reflect on Thy most Sacred Sorrow in the Garden of Gethsemane, and who spread devotion to Thee.  I pray Thee, move my soul and my heart to think often, at least once a day, of Thy most bitter Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, in order to communicate with Thee and to be united with Thee as closely as possible. Saint Joseph was a Righteous Man (Matthew 1:19) and Exemplifies the Father Figure.

In contrast to all the lack in many families, Saint Joseph exemplifies a father’s presence as a teacher, a trustworthy man of faith, and a man whose faith inspires others to grow in confidence and wisdom.

Saint Joseph was a carpenter who taught Jesus the craft; thus, he taught Jesus how to work in the world. And we know that Jesus learned from him, because Jesus was obedient to him (Luke 2:51).

We also know that Saint Joseph was a righteous man (Matthew 1:19). He was also a man of faith because when an angel gave him instructions in a dream, Saint Joseph obeyed without question—twice (Matthew 2:13-15; Matthew 2:19-23).

Finally, we know that Jesus grew in self-confidence under Saint Joseph’s guidance: the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom (Luke 2:40; see also Luke 2:52).

Is it possible that St Joseph is the Man who God chose to most represent himself as God the Father in human history.  As Jesus formed a relationship with God the Father through St Joseph.

God has chosen to hide St Joseph from the limelight but I wonder if the days are coming when that may change?  

As a Catholic who has struggled to keep the faith, I have found the prayers in this website very useful and always, always found St Joseph a remarkable aid in everything.  Over to you....

Annual Apparition To Jakov On December 25th 2009

At the last daily apparition to Jakov Colo on September 12th, 1998, Our Lady told him that henceforth he would have one apparition a year, every December 25th, on Christmas Day. This is also how it was this year. The apparition began at 14:35 am and lasted 12 minutes. Our Lady gave the following message:

"Dear children! All of this time in which God in a special way permits me to be with you, I desire to lead you on the way that leads to Jesus and to your salvation. Message to Mirjana - October 2, 2009

Our Lady appeared to the visionary Mirjana as she does every 2nd of the month, to pray for unbelievers. The following is the message that was given:

"Dear Children, as I look at you, my heart seizes with pain. Where are you going, my children? Have you sunk so deeply into sin that you do not know how to stop yourselves? You justify yourselves with sin and live according to it. Kneel down beneath the Cross and look at my Son. He conquered sin and died so that you, my children, may live. Permit me to help you not to die but to live with my Son forever."

Message to Mirjana - August 2, 2009

Thousands of people were present near the Blue Cross, at the base of Apparition Hill, for the monthly apparition to visionary Mirjana Soldo. After the apparition, Mirjana relayed the following message from Our Lady:

"Dear children, I am coming, with my motherly love, to point out the way by which you are to set out, in order that you may be all the more like my Son; and by that, closer to and more pleasing to God. Do not refuse my love. Do not renounce salvation and eternal life for the sake of the transience and frivolity of this life. I am among you to lead you and, as a mother, to caution you. Come with me."

Mirjana reported that Our Lady appeared with the sun shining behind her during the entire apparition. At the same time, thousands of onlookers also reported seeing what is commonly called the miracle of the sun, where a person can look directly at the sun without any discomfort.

According to one eyewitness, "The sun was going forward and backward, and then we saw a cross which traveled from Blue Cross to Cross Mountain and started to change colors. Many saw this. It was chaos, some screamed, some cried."  Click here for video coverage.

After receiving the tenth secret on Christmas Day in 1982, the visionary Mirjana was told by Our Lady that she would experience an apparition every year on March 18, which is also Mirjana's birthday.

Today, thousands of pilgrims gathered at the Cenacolo Community in Medjugorje to be present with Mirjana. The apparition lasted for approximately seven minutes.

After the apparition, Mirjana said: "I have never seen Our Lady address us in this manner. She extended her hands towards us and with her hands extended in this way, she said: 'Dear children, today I extend my hands towards you. Do not be afraid to accept them. They desire to give you love and peace and to help you in salvation. Therefore, my children, receive them. Fill my heart with joy and I will lead you towards holiness. The way on which I lead you is difficult and full of temptations and falls. I will be with you and my hands will hold you. Be persevering so that, at the end of the way, we can all together, in joy and love, hold the hands of my Son. Come with me; fear not. Thank you.'"

Annual Apparition of Our Lady to Ivanka On June 25, 2007

The visionary Ivanka Ivankovic-Elez had her regular annual apparition on June 25th 2007. According to the visionaries, Vicka, Marija and Ivan continue to have daily apparitions, and Mirjana, Ivanka and Jakov have an annual apparition.

At Her last daily apparition on May 7, 1985, Our Lady confided to Ivanka the 10th secret and told her that she would have an apparition once a year on the anniversary of the apparitions. It was that way also this year. The apparition lasted 17 minutes. Ivanka had the apparition at home in the presence of her family, her husband and her three children.

After the apparition, the visionary Ivanka said: “Our Lady remained with me for 17 minutes. She was joyful and spoke to me about Her life. Our Lady said: ‘Dear children, receive my motherly blessing.’"

Message of June 25, 2007 "Dear children! Also today, with great joy in my heart, I call you to conversion. Little children, do not forget that you are all important in this great plan, which God leads through Medjugorje. God desires to convert the entire world and to call it to salvation and to the way towards Himself, who is the beginning and the end of every being. Monthly Apparition to Mirjana - June 2, 2007

"Dear children! Also in this difficult time God's love sends me to you. My children, do not be afraid, I am with you. With complete trust give me your hearts, that I may help you to recognize the signs of the time in which you live. I will help you to come to know the love of my Son. I will triumph through you. Thank you."

Our Lady blessed everyone present. Once again She reminded us to pray for priests and that a priest's blessing is a blessing from Her son, Jesus.

And you, who are far from prayer, convert and, in the silence of your heart, seek salvation for your soul and nurture it with prayer. I bless you all individually with my motherly blessing.
